Bun & Bolt is a collection of interactive works. They're free to use, and you don't need an account or a name. By using this site you agree to what follows.
Privacy
What we collect
- Visit statistics: we use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and where visitors come from. It sets a cookie in your browser. Its advertising features are off, and it never receives what you type or draw on a page.
- Speed measurement: we record how long pages take to load and the type of device, to keep pages fast. This uses no cookies and contains nothing that identifies you.
- Newsletter (optional): if you subscribe, your email address and the language you signed up in are kept by our newsletter service, Buttondown, and used only to tell you about new work. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To stop scripts from signing up other people, Cloudflare checks that you are a person when you subscribe.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. As with any website, your browser sends technical information such as your IP address to the server.
Saved on your device
Pages save your settings and progress in your browser, and videos and photos you record in a work stay on your own device. None of this is uploaded to us, and clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.
What we don't do
We don't show ads, sell your data, or give it to anyone for advertising.
Your choices
Turn visit statistics and speed measurement on or off for this browser. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, statistics stay off.

These works are still being made and changed, so they may change, break or go offline. They are provided as they are, and we don't promise they will always work.
Our work
Unless stated otherwise, the pages, code, images and text on this site are ours. You're welcome to share links and screenshots, but please don't copy them wholesale or publish them as your own.
Fair use of the site
Please don't try to break, disrupt or abuse this site.
Real people and organisations
A few works mention real people or organisations for commentary and fun. They are unofficial and not affiliated with them.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by using or being unable to use this site. This doesn't affect rights you have by law.
